Today I wanted to share the second/middle part of my artistic process for sketching in charcoal; we will work through how I develop shadows in a sketch.

In this video, I am using the following:

  • Coffee beans from my local roastery

  • Strathmore 400 Toned Tan paper, 9x12 inches

  • General’s 4B soft charcoal pencil

  • Blending stump

  • Music from William Agosto’s YouTube channel because it’s awesome
