Dream of Encouragement

A lift up in a season of hardship

This is a record of a dream I had on 13 July 2024; I’m posting it strictly for Spirit-filled Believers and those called to be intercessors in the Church to pray into. “For we know in part and we prophesy in part” (1 Corinthians 13:9). I include my interpretation in the footnotes, such as they are. The Lord frequently revisits past dreams with me during my prayer time for months and sometimes years afterward; the revelation He brings is often ongoing.

I had a dream where God showed me the timeline of events over the last couple of months, with special attention to the increase in significant events, prophetic words, and revelation during prayer that I and others had received in the last couple weeks. He highlighted the period through the end of the month, and then began to indicate what I saw was an example of a larger pattern at work in the lives of His people.

He said “Divine acceleration.” I understood immediately that He was responsible for the sudden uptick in happenings, and He said that He is “rapidly” bringing closure and resolution in all these situations where His people have been backed up against a wall with no end in sight, no way forward. “I am rapidly bringing closure and resolution.”

As I scanned the timeline in front of me, He said “buckle up, Buttercup,” and indicated that we are to expect the ride to get bumpy for a bit as He is doing this, but that even though it will get bumpy, that His hand is still on it. He is still with us. He is protecting us. I strongly felt that the enemy’s plan all along was to delay what He had in store for His people, and that this divine acceleration was to keep the enemy from dragging things on/out for years and years more than they already have. “I am putting a stop to delay.”

“Don’t be shocked, I’ve still got it under control, but get ready because here we go!” He highlighted rapid developments. There will be a suddenly, and then things will move very, very quickly. I feel this applies to many different areas where His people have felt bound, stagnated, or delayed.

Hang onto the hem of His garment — He is with you. Stay sensitive to the nudges of His Spirit. Trust that He has it all in His hands.
