“I remember getting lost in this game”—RIVEN! Sequel to Myst! I’d recognize that anywhere, one of the best jumpscares ive ever experienced. That room you sit in the chair and see a throne room, then you find the throne room, then you leave, then when you come back someone is sitting in the chair and you rush to the chair and no one is there.
Edit: “riven” is the name of a star system in the story i just published, and my “byron the blackpage” stories include world books—left a profound impression on me. What a cool surprise to see in your sketches!
I'm in a snowdrop state of mind so seeing these here makes me really happy ❤️
Wonderful! Mine haven't come up yet, but I'm eagerly watching for them.

OMG, Riven was amaaaaazing! By far my favorite game. I could lose myself in those worlds for hours!
I'm actually writing a post about the linking books that will be published in a couple months on here.
Did you ever read the book series? So good.
I only ever read the book of Atreus! They're wildly imaginative, so good! I'll look forward to your post!
I picked up the set of three in an omnibus edition, "The Myst Reader." I was always hoping there'd be more books, but alas.
